Serie A is the top of the Italian football league system and is a competition for Italian football clubs.  The league exists since 1929, so the first season was the 1929-30 one. Serie A is part of the five best leagues in the world and it's often picked as the most tactical league. The league has produced the highest number of Champions League winners. Serie A is one of the most storied leagues in the history of football. It has also been the league for 42 out 100 greatest players of all times. It is the league that has produced the highest numbers of Ballon d'Or winners after la Liga. Juventus is currently the most successful team in the league. Together with Juventus, there are also: Roma, Inter, Milan, Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina. Those seven clubs are considered as the seven sisters of Italian football. The total number of clubs is 20.
